Our Farm Shop is our central hub, being the outlet for eggs and meat reared on the farm, along with selected produce from local suppliers.
For walkers and cyclists we offer a range of snacks/drinks and for our guests' breakfast during the main walking season.
OUR LAMB: (and sometimes Hogget) will be from our flocks of North Country Cheviots and Blue Texels and will be available seasonally in half or whole Lamb boxes. Our butcher can joint and pack the meat as suits individual requirements.
OUR PORK: This is from native traditional breeds, mainly Oxford Sandy and Black. Like the Lamb this will be available seasonally in ‘freezer’ boxes.
EGGS: We keep a mixture of Chicken breeds so we have a colourful mix of eggs plus sometimes Turkey eggs are available.
TURKEYS: We have added a programme of breeding Slate and Harvey Speckled Turkeys, both of which are heritage breeds. Compared to commercial breeds, they are slower growing, single breasted so therefore on average a little smaller but big on flavour! We sometimes have poults available for sale and finished birds at Christmas time. Subject to availability, we can source free range birds through our butcher.
CHRISTMAS: We shall have sausage meat, chipolatas and can provide Beef joints and Turkeys through our butcher, but please order. The usual collection date is 23rd December.
Other than by arrangement, the Shop will only be active from 1st April to 30th September. We do not have specific hours but will revolve around our guests.
We really are right on the South Downs Way so if you are walking or cycling the trail just stay on it and you will come to us.
If you are coming by public transport the best option is the number 60 bus which runs from Chichester rail station to Midhurst and stops at the SDW cross roads, then it’s just a short walk up to the Farm or click here to find us on Google maps.
